Qualifications:
Valid Michigan Special Education (SPED) teaching license Experience working within school settings preferred Strong understanding of IEPs and ability to implement personalized learning plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to work with a range of student abilities and grade levels Knowledge of state-specific requirements for Special Education roles
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and execute individualized education plans for each student Provide direct instruction and support services in accordance with student IEPs Partner with teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to optimize student progress Track and report on student academic and developmental milestones Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and resources Participate in team meetings and staff development opportunities
