Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education certification in any of the 13 eligibility areas Previous experience working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet a diverse range of learning needs Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality instruction tailored to students with varied special education needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload Engage in regular assessment of student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated services Maintain accurate records as required by district and state guidelines Participate in professional development opportunities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices
