Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in designing engaging curricula, fostering inclusive classroom communities, and supporting the developmental growth of children. Your expertise will help create a nurturing space where every child feels valued, motivated, and empowered to reach their full potential. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating literacy, math, and early childhood education best practices. Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, or requiring speech therapy or behavioral health interventions. Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and effective classroom management techniques. Collaborate with families, therapists, and specialists to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) ensuring tailored support for each child's unique needs. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and adapt instructional strategies accordingly. Mentor and support assistant teachers or aides, fostering professional growth through coaching and feedback. Engage in ongoing professional development related to special education, behavioral therapy, curriculum development, and early intervention methods. Qualifications Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings or special education environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other special needs; familiarity with speech therapy and behavioral health practices is highly desirable. Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that meet diverse learning styles and needs while adhering to curriculum standards. Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with families, colleagues, and specialists. Demonstrated ability to mentor staff members and foster a positive team environment. Certification or training in special education, behavioral therapy, or related fields is preferred; Montessori or preschool experience is a plus. Pay:
