Job Description
Qualifications and Experience Sought:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement Experience creating and modifying individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong knowledge of various learning disabilities and classroom accommodations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet each student's unique needs Previous experience working in a school setting preferredKey Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction to students with varying disabilities in accordance with their IEPs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance Utilize adaptive technology and diverse instructional strategies Foster a safe and respectful classroom environment Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and school functions as needed Uphold district policies and special education legal guidelinesBenefits and Perks:
