Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching credential or certification Previous experience supporting students with disabilities in a school setting (6th12th grade preferred) Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learner needs, especially in functional life skills and community instruction Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group instruction across academic and functional life skills Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school staff and families Support and monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Provide meaningful community-based learning opportunities Oversee the 7th-grade caseload, ensuring compliance with all district and state requirements
