Job Description

This full-time contract role supports learners within a Setting II/III/center-based environment for the upcoming academic year. Located near Minneapolis, this position offers a collaborative atmosphere where your expertise will empower students each day.
Key Qualifications:
Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required) Experience working with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders in school settings Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies Ability to build rapport and motivate students with a variety of learning needs Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Must provide a current resume and copy of teaching license for consideration
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to students with emotional and behavioral needs in accordance with their IEPs Collaborate with counselors, support staff, and classroom teachers to provide holistic care and learning opportunities Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to teaching strategies Develop and implement effective positive behavior support plans Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment Communicate regularly with families and advocate for student success This contract opportunity features a consistent weekday schedule, providing stability throughout the academic year.
