Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current special education teaching license valid in the state of Minnesota Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to adapting instruction for diverse learning needs and abilities Positive, solution-oriented mindset and effective classroom management skills Familiarity with best practices in inclusive education and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction to students with diverse abilities, ensuring an engaging and supportive classroom environment Develop and regularly update IEPs, tracking progress and setting realistic objectives Work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to advocate for student needs Create safe, respectful, and constructive classroom communities that encourage participation and social development Utilize data-driven strategies to inform teaching approaches and document student growth Support behavioral interventions and adapt curriculum as needed for individual learning plans Provide guidance and advocacy for students as they navigate their academic and social challenges This role offers the chance to collaborate with a passionate educational team and directly contribute to student success within a supportive and forward-thinking setting.
