Qualifications and Experience Sought:

Valid Minnesota Teaching License in EBD, ASD, or ABS (attach license and resume for consideration) Experience supporting at-risk students in an educational environment Expertise in behavior support strategies Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and embrace best practices in special education Willingness to participate in Out of Field Licensure Placement, if necessary

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to 9th-12th grade students with diverse learning needs Create, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate effectively with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure student success Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom, utilizing proactive behavior management techniques Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with all stakeholders Participate in professional development and school-based initiatives This position is structured with a Monday-Friday schedule, aligning with school hours from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
