Step into a meaningful contract role dedicated to supporting high school students' growth and well-being as a Special Education Teacher serving grades 9-12. In this onsite position, youll play a vital role in an inclusive community setting, working alongside talented professionals passionate about student success. This assignment runs from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027, following a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:15 AM 3:15 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day. In this role, you'll be responsible for guiding a caseload of 9th-12th grade students, utilizing your expertise to provide individualized instruction and behavioral support. Your contributions will help create a positive and effective learning environment for students with a variety of needs.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

Current Minnesota teaching license in EBD, ASD, or ABS is required (or open to Out of Field Licensure Placement with district support) Demonstrated success working with at-risk student populations Solid skills in collaborative teaming with staff and families Strong background in developing and implementing behavior support strategies Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom community Excellent communication and documentation abilities
