Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Effective communication and interpersonal skills Dedication to creating a positive, supportive classroom environment Collaborative mindset for partnering with faculty, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
Develop and adapt lesson plans tailored to students' individual needs and goals Manage a diverse caseload of middle school students requiring special education services Conduct regular assessments and progress monitoring Collaborate closely with general education teachers and paraprofessionals Implement IEPs and participate in meetings to review and update educational strategies Provide academic and behavioral support to help students reach their full potential Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all special education regulations This full school year contract offers you the chance to build strong relationships with your students, see their progress over time, and contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment.
