Onsite DCD Special Education Teacher - Full-Time | Dayton, MN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite position in Dayton, MN . This role is ideal for an educator with experience supporting students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and a passion for creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support to students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD)

Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with student IEP goals

Support students' academic, communication, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional development

Adapt instruction and activities to meet individual student needs

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation

Collaborate with families, general education staff, special education teams, and related-service professionals

Promote a safe, structured, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment

Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota teaching certification required

Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota teaching certification required

Experience working with students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities or significant support needs is preferred

Knowledge of IEP development and special education instructional practices

Strong communication, collaboration, classroom management, and organizational skills
