Job Description

Make an impact in students' lives as a Special Education Teacher in a supportive elementary school environment near Saint Paul, MN. This full-time assignment is a fantastic opportunity to create meaningful progress with a classroom focused on specialized support for learners with unique needs. In this contract role, you'll be guiding approximately 10 students in a cluster classroom setting alongside a dedicated team of three experienced paraprofessionals. This position requires someone who excels with center-based DCD/ASD programs and values a collaborative approach to education. Start your rewarding school year on November 1, 2026, and continue through February 15, 2027. Hours run from 7:20 am to 3:20 pm Monday through Friday, offering stability and balance during the school week.
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed in Special Education Prior experience in DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disabilities) or ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) classrooms Skilled in helping students reach individualized goals Strong communication and teamwork capabilities Ability to plan, implement, and adjust differentiated instructional strategies Enthusiasm for fostering an inclusive learning environment
