Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Ignite your passion for supporting students with special needs by bringing your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to a dynamic school environment near Eden Prairie, MN. Multiple contract positions are available, offering the chance to make a significant impact across diverse classroom settings. Roles begin as soon as possible through June 11, 2027, with student instruction commencing September 8. With over ten positions open, your location and grade-level preferences are encouraged so we can best match you with the right placement.
Key Qualifications:
Active Minnesota teaching license required Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in schools is highly valued If you have previously worked in this district, please ensure there are no outstanding conflicts or negative histories Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with a variety of needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to each learner's abilities Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Create a positive, structured, and caring classroom culture Comply with all district, state, and federal special education requirements
