Job Description
Bring your passion for supporting students' physical growth and development to a dynamic K-5 educational environment. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity allows you to deliver high-impact adaptive and general physical education instruction for elementary learners. You'll work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to promoting inclusivity, active participation, and lifelong wellness skills for every student. In this rewarding position, you'll: Lead adaptive and/or general physical education classes for K-5 students Design and adjust lessons to meet diverse needs and abilities Inspire students in developing motor skills, coordination, and fitness Foster engagement and inclusion among all learners Partner with general and special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists to develop individualized strategies Keep accurate student records and progress notes in compliance with district and state guidelines Qualifications to flourish in this role: Minnesota teaching license/certification in Physical Education and/or Adaptive Physical Education Authorization to work in the United States Successful completion of background check and drug screening Collaborative spirit and commitment to creating positive, accessible PE experiences for all Strong organizational skills and attention to student progress You'll be supported every step of the way with a comprehensive benefits package, including weekly pay, retirement savings options, and full medical, dental, and vision coverage.
