Job Summary:
To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Plan, guide, evaluate, and revise a comprehensive social-emotional and behavior support program with interventions and supports aligned to district guidelines; work directly with scholars including conducting individual assessments and developing and implementing individual scholar goals and objectives; serve as a team member to support MTSS; build capacity in staff to meet building and system-wide social-emotional and behavior initiatives through professional learning for individuals, departments, and/or grade levels and collaborating with and supporting staff in meeting the social-emotional and behavior goals and objectives of scholars; support and promote School Improvement Plan (SIP) for Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) goals including implementation of steps and processes; implement the goals and objectives of the District and the school and/or program for which employed; make appropriate and equitable use of resources and technologies; maintain contact and communication with guardians/caregivers of scholars, working with them in the development of their scholar; design, deliver and assess social-emotional and behavior curriculum according to district guidelines; participate in district, building, and department leadership activities; provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning when applicable; work collaboratively with others. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of the district and building at the discretion of the supervisor.
