As a K-12 school-based Special Education Teacher in the Mendota, MN area, your days will include: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that support students' academic, behavioral, and functional goals. Provide specialized instruction and accommodations based on each student's individual learning needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school administrators to support student success. Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instructional strategies as needed. Support positive classroom behavior and implement behavior intervention plans when applicable. Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, progress reporting, and other required special education documentation. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and school requirements while creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Hours:

Full-time (Monday - Friday)

Caseload:

Specific grade level, classroom setting, and caseload details will be discussed during the interview process and may be matched based on the candidate's experience, strengths, and preferences. Successful Candidates Possess Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related education field (required) An active or pending Minnesota Special Education teaching license, or the ability to obtain (required) Experience in a pediatric or school setting (preferred) The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
