Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for appropriate MN licensure) Previous experience in special education settings preferred Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction Skilled in collaboration with colleagues, families, and support staff Excellent organization, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities Strong communication and classroom management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction for students with diverse learning profiles Assess student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom climate Facilitate communication with parents, staff, and related service providers Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Support social, emotional, and behavioral growth This contract position provides the rewarding opportunity to make a daily difference in students' learning experiences.
