This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated educators looking to work part-time in a self-contained early childhood classroom, with the possibility of the position becoming full-time. Flexible workday options allow you to fit your professional life around your personal schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:15 am to 12:15 pm Monday 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, Wednesday 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, and Tuesday 8:15 am to 12:15 pm A full paperwork or meeting day is scheduled every Monday—ensuring you have dedicated time for planning and collaboration. You'll be supported by two full-time paraeducators in the classroom and may step in as a float substitute within the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program as needed.

Qualifications:

Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education (SPED) License required Experience working in self-contained or inclusive classroom settings preferred Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Collaborative mindset and willingness to support a diverse team of educators and staff Passion for fostering growth and learning in students with varying abilities
