This position is in our Transition Program, serving students 18-22
THE ROLE:
This role combines special education teaching and case management with collaborative behavior support, including functional teaching, skill acquisition, data analysis, and positive behavior intervention planning for students with significant support needs.
WE OFFER
$47,500 - $80,000 depending on education and experience Full benefit options including medical, vision, disability, HSA, FSA, 403b and free dental 80 hours Paid Time Off in the school year Summers off and the opportunity to work Extended School Year (summer school)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Possession of a BCaBA, BCBA or Special Education degree Must obtain a Special Education Tier 1 or 2 license if not already licensed Valid driver's license/ability to transport students via school vehicle (must have 3 or less moving violations in the last three years and no DWI/DUI convictions within the past 5 years).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience, interest and/or expertise working with students on the autism spectrum, varied learning styles and levels of mastery Experience in differentiation, using behavioral teaching techniques
