Qualifications:
Valid Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education License (required) Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in self-contained classrooms, preferred Strong communication skills for collaboration with paraeducators and school staff Flexibility to float as a substitute within the ECSE program when needed
Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction in self-contained classrooms for young children with special needs Choose between two workday schedules (M-F 8:15-12:15 or M/W 8:15-4:15 & T 8:15-12:15) Provide case management, attend meetings, and complete paperwork (Mondays as dedicated planning and paperwork days) Collaborate with two full-time paraeducators to ensure individualized student support Fill in as a float substitute when available within the Early Childhood Special Education program
