In this role, you will design engaging, inclusive, and innovative physical education programs that promote physical development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a positive classroom environment where students from diverse backgrounds can thrive physically and socially. You will also integrate learning technology and curriculum development strategies to enhance student engagement and performance. Responsibilities Plan and deliver comprehensive physical education lessons tailored to various learning styles and developmental levels, including early childhood, elementary, or middle school students. Incorporate educational technology tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and facilitate interactive lessons. Implement differentiated instruction and instructional modifications to meet individual student needs, including students with autism or special education requirements. DAPE license is preferable but not a must. Manage classroom behavior effectively through proactive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students. Assess student performance using standardized testing, performance data analysis, and informal observations; provide constructive feedback to support growth. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and achievements in physical education. Collaborate with faculty members on curriculum implementation, lesson planning, and integrating health education standards into the broader school program. Experience Proven teaching experience in physical education at the elementary or middle school levels. Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapting lessons to accommodate different learning styles. Familiarity with educational technology integration, tracking systems and learning tools that enhance physical education instruction. Lesson planning, Team coaching, Leagues participation. Knowledge of behavior management strategies, special education needs—including experience working with individuals with autism—and early childhood education. Prior experience in K-8 school settings or early childhood environments is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and faculty collaboration; ability to analyze student performance data for instructional improvements. About the
