With multiple openings and an immediate start available, this assignment supports schools in the Saint Paul, MN area, stretching through June 2027. Key Qualifications:
Current, active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required) Direct experience in a school-based special education setting Understanding of individualized instruction, IEP writing, and progress monitoring Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Flexibility to support various locations (site preferences will be considered and discussed during the placement process) Positive record of employment with area districts (candidates with prior district experience will be reviewed for eligibility)
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to students with varying exceptionalities Develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, related service staff, and families Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with both state and district guidelines Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and growth
