Job Description

Empower students to reach their full potential as a Special Education Teacher for a school community near Prior Lake, MN. This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact supporting students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and resourceful environment.
Ideal Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Minnesota Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching styles to meet the unique needs of each student Proficient in fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment Strong communication and organizational skills Previous school-based experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver instruction tailored to students with a variety of disabilities Collaborate with support staff, families, and other educators to ensure student success Develop and maintain comprehensive IEPs, monitoring progress and modifying strategies as needed Provide direct instruction, interventions, and classroom accommodations Maintain accurate records of student performance and compliance documentation Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
