Your expertise will help students with a range of abilities access education and develop critical life skills. In these roles, youll work in center-based classrooms designed for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental/cognitive disabilities (DCD), or emotional behavior disorders (EBD). These classrooms utilize modified or alternative curriculum and a variety of supports tailored to each learner. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with families, specialized teams, and support staffempowering every child to reach their potential.

What were looking for:

Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher licensure (required) Experience with K-5 learners preferred Comfort supporting students with a variety of needs, including those who use AAC devices, wheelchairs, and alternative communication methods Skills in adapting curriculum and supporting students with self-care, functional, and daily living skills Patience, compassion, and strong classroom management abilities Willingness to collaborate with a dedicated team and attend to each students IEP goals Key responsibilities: Deliver direct instruction using modified or alternative curriculums Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual needs Support students in daily living, self-care, social-emotional learning, communication, and academic growth Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Maintain detailed records, collaborate with parents/caregivers, and participate in regular team meetings If youre ready to inspire, advocate, and make a difference every day, we encourage you to apply now for one of these rewarding opportunities.
