In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children after school hours, supporting their social, emotional, and developmental needs. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a positive atmosphere where children feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn through play and structured activities. Duties Supervise children during afterschool hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and physical development Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful environment Coordinate with parents and staff to communicate children's progress and address any concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration Follow all first aid protocols and be prepared to respond promptly in case of emergencies using CPR or AED as needed Support children with special educational needs by adapting activities and providing individualized attention when necessary Skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain order while encouraging positive interactions Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or camp environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid, CPR, and AED operation; familiarity with first aid protocols for emergencies Ability to facilitate youth group activities Excellent child supervision skills with a focus on safety during outdoor work or recreational activities Effective team leadership capabilities to collaborate with colleagues and support a cohesive learning environment Experience in behavior management strategies tailored for young children with diverse needs Join us as an Aftercare Teacher and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to nurturing the next generation of learners.
