Qualifications & Experience:
Active state licensure in Special Education (required) Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Adaptable and compassionate approach to student needs Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with students, families, and staff Willingness to relocate for the duration of the contract assignment
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in an elementary school environment Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure the success of each student Maintain thorough records of student performance and progress Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and confidence
