100% Onsite (No Virtual Positions Available) Position Overview We are seeking dedicated and student-focused Special Education Teachers to fill 16 onsite openings for the 2026-2027 school year. These opportunities span elementary, middle school, and high school settings, including resource, co-teaching, and self-contained classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve academic, behavioral, and social success in an inclusive educational environment. Current Openings 3 Elementary Resource Teachers 2 SC Classic Teachers 3 Middle School Resource Teachers 5 High School Resource / Co-Teaching Teachers 2 Self-Contained Teachers 1 Self-Contained Teacher (Success Academy Program) Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Collaborate with general education teachers to implement accommodations and modifications. Deliver instruction in resource, co-teaching, and self-contained settings. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions. Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Ensure compliance with all federal and state special education regulations. Minimum Qualifications Valid Missouri Special Education Teaching License required. Candidates with pending Missouri licensure may be considered if currently fully licensed in another state. Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field. Strong understanding of special education laws, instructional strategies, and IEP development. Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Important Application Information Missouri licensure documentation must be submitted with your application.
