Position Details Full-time contract position Elementary school setting Self-contained special education classroom Manage and support a caseload of elementary-aged students with varying educational needs Collaborate with related service providers, support staff, families, and administration Opportunity to work within a supportive school district dedicated to student success Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' unique academic and behavioral needs Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to support student learning Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress toward IEP goals Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field Active Missouri Special Education teaching certification or eligibility to obtain licensure Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Strong classroom management and behavior intervention skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs Why Work with Soliant Education?
