Desired Qualifications & Required Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher license with Mild/Moderate endorsement Experience teaching in an elementary-level special education, self-contained setting preferred Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning needs Commitment to collaborative communication with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams Passion for individualized instruction and student-centered teaching practices

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Employ engaging instructional strategies supportive of diverse learners in a small-group environment Closely monitor, document, and report student progress and behaviors Collaborate with related service providers and general education staff to maximize student inclusion Foster a safe, positive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
