Supplemental Health Care is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support middle school students for the 2026-2027 school year with a partnering school district in Burgaw, North Carolina . This is a full-time, in-person opportunity at a middle school campus where you'll work alongside a collaborative educational team to help students achieve their academic and behavioral goals.

Burgaw, NC Job Responsibilities Provide special education instruction and support to students with exceptional learning needs Deliver both push-in and pull-out services based on student IEP requirements Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Maintain accurate educational records and progress documentation Utilize

ECATS, ECATS/ESTS

systems for IEP management and Infinite Campus for attendance tracking Support student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development Additional Assignment Information Supported by 3-4 Teacher's Aides Overtime paid for IEP meetings conducted outside regular school hours Caseload details to be provided during the interview process Interviews conducted by the Director of Special Education Qualifications Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching License Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field qualifying for licensure through the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements School-based special education experience preferred
