This opportunity places you within a dedicated ECS (Exceptional Childrens Services) classroom, guiding a manageable caseload of no more than 10 students. The assignment runs from October 1 through May 21, 2027, providing continuity for both you and your students as you help shape their educational journeys.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Current Special Education Teacher certification Adaptive Curriculum certification required Prior experience in elementary special education settings (preferred) Strong classroom management skills tailored to the needs of diverse learners Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and fellow educators

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group instruction to meet each students unique educational goals within an adaptive curriculum framework Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) ensuring compliance and meaningful progress Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and assistive technologies to foster engagement and achievement Collaborate with related service providers, families, and school staff to promote student success Maintain accurate records and progress reports, participating in IEP meetings and data-driven evaluation processes, as needed Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment to support both academic and social-emotional growth
