e2112-27519 Job Description Make a meaningful impact by providing specialized instruction and support as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired in a long-term, full-time assignment focused on one-on-one pediatric care. This rewarding position is located conveniently near Cary, NC, and welcomes both local and travel candidates seeking to work on-site and make a difference in students lives.
What youll need to succeed:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) is required Valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Strong background working with children in educational settings Experience providing individualized instructional strategies for students with visual impairments is highly valued Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational teams Adaptability and compassion when working in a dynamic, student-centered environment What youll do: Deliver direct, individualized instruction and support to a student with visual impairment in a one-on-one setting Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure accessibility and inclusion Develop and implement customized educational plans and resources tailored to the student's unique needs Utilize both traditional and assistive technology tools to maximize student engagement and learning Monitor progress, set goals, and provide regular updates to stakeholders Maintain accurate documentation and comply with IEP requirements This opportunity features a supportive work culture and outstanding benefits, including comprehensive health and dental insurance, a company-matched 401(k) retirement plan, and competitive weekly pay.
