With a 37.5-hour workweek, you'll find the structure and consistency you need while working alongside passionate educators and dedicated support staff.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience teaching in Special Education settings (resource, inclusion, self-contained, or life skills settings are valued) Valid state Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction abilities Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families Adaptability and commitment to fostering independence and confidence in all learners
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and challenges Deliver engaging instruction that meets diverse academic and behavioral needs Monitor progress, maintaining clear and accurate records Work closely with general education teachers, instructional aides, and related service providers Foster a nurturing and respectful classroom climate that encourages participation Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to support student success Engage in school-based meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
