Qualifications & Requirements:
Current NC Special Education License required Previous experience working with high school students preferred Strong behavioral management skills highly desirable Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Excellent communication and organization skills Passion for fostering growth and success in diverse learners
Responsibilities:
Develop lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of students Implement IEPs, track progress, and adjust strategies as needed Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to support student achievement Utilize effective behavioral interventions and supports Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance In this role, you'll thrive if you're adaptable, compassionate, and eager to champion students of all abilities.
