e3472-27701 Job Description Step into a rewarding full-time opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, serving students as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic North Carolina setting. This onsite contract position is an excellent fit for educators with a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences and making a positive impact in students academic journeys. Travel candidates licensed in North Carolina are welcome to apply.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching certification (required for interview consideration) Bachelors degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field Experience designing and adapting curriculum for students with diverse learning needs Strong knowledge of IEP development, goal setting, and progress monitoring Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff, parents, and specialists Flexibility, adaptability, and a student-first mindset
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines Adapt general education lessons for students strengths and needs Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment Utilize data-driven instruction to track student progress and adjust strategies as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to achieve student goals Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings and professional development
