Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (VI Teacher) Experience or training across elementary, middle, and high school levels Ability to implement teaching strategies aligned with district guidelines Strong communication and assessment skills

Responsibilities:

Deliver instruction and support to visually impaired students, adapting materials and methods per district policies Conduct ongoing student achievement assessments through both formal and informal measures Prepare for and participate in relevant ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings Collaborate with staff and families to ensure educational goals are met
