What Youll Bring:
Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (VI) Experience teaching or supporting visually impaired students, preferably across a range of grade levels Ability to implement adapted methods per district standards Strong communication skills, especially when collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to visually impaired students in elementary, middle, and high school settings Conduct ongoing assessments using formal and informal measures to gauge student progress Prepare for, attend, and contribute to ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings Collaborate with faculty to support student integration and success
