8/3/2026; Temporary Part Time with No Benefits 10 month; 16 hours per week
Responsibilties and Essential Duties:
Hosting all Multi Tiered System Support (MTSS) Team meetings (Tier 2 and Tier 3) to assist classroom teachers in the completion of tier plans, documentation of interventions and progress monitoring data points, organization of MTSS folders with updated plans Providing interventions to students during non-core times to allow teachers to focus on providing differentiated core instruction and to allow students to not miss core instruction to participate in interventions Providing Tier 3 interventions in Reading, Math, Writing, Attendance, Behavior, Social/Academic skills Co-teaching with classroom teachers Conferencing with parents Assisting teachers with documentation of progress monitoring data points and intervention schedules Assisting MTSS team with choosing appropriate interventions and progress monitoring tools Conducting classroom observations Conducting progress monitoring probes for Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 students (after appropriate training) Planning for and utilizing instructional methods, resources, and evaluation techniques that motivate and enable each student to achieve learning objectives Monitoring student performance and growth Taking all necessary and permitted safety precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities Establishing relationships with parents, colleagues, administrators, and the community to enhance learning opportunities for the students Having availability to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the instructional day when requested to do so under reasonable circumstances Attending staff meetings and perform other duties as required by the Principal
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must hold a current NC Teacher's License; Elementary Education K-6 Certification.
