EC Adaptive Curriculum Licensure Required Position Overview We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Hickory, NC for the remainder of the 20262027 school year. This position will support students in a self-contained classroom setting with a moderate/severe caseload. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a supportive learning environment and helping students reach their individual academic, behavioral, and developmental goals. Position Highlights Full-time position 37.5 hours per week ASAP start through May 2027 3rd5th grade students Small caseload of 7 students Self-contained classroom Moderate/severe population Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers Qualifications Active North Carolina EC Adaptive Curriculum license Experience working with students with moderate/severe disabilities preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with school-based teams Interested in making a difference in the lives of students in Hickory?
