Key Qualifications:

Valid EC Adaptive Curriculum Licensure required Previous experience with moderate/severe caseloads preferred Background working with 3rd-5th grade students in special education Ability to support and manage a self-contained classroom of 7 students Compassionate, flexible, and dedicated to meeting students unique needs Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Teach and support students in a self-contained classroom, focusing on adaptive curriculum Manage and adapt lesson plans to fit the abilities of students with moderate to severe disabilities Collaborate with fellow educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement IEP goals Maintain detailed documentation and track progress towards academic and behavioral objectives Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment for all students
