Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide and mentor assistant teachers while implementing effective teaching strategies tailored to the needs of each child. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Assess and monitor children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development and address any concerns. Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain a safe and organized classroom, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Incorporate behavioral therapy techniques as needed for children with developmental disabilities. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong background in preschool education and childhood development. Knowledge of behavioral health practices and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Familiarity with special education principles and strategies. Ability to effectively teach physical education concepts within the classroom setting. Experience with standardized testing procedures for early learners. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently. A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity among students.
