•Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated One Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for one-year-old children. Your expertise in child development instruction, classroom management, and early childhood education will help foster each child's growth and curiosity. This position requires at least one year of experience working with young children, along with a strong commitment to supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and attentive supervision. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing our dedication to valuing and investing in our educators. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum designed for one-year-old children that promotes physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development Provide attentive child supervision, ensuring safety at all times within the classroom and during outdoor activities Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation, independence, and emotional regulation Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and development activities Administer basic first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support individual needs, including those requiring special education or experience working with children with disabilities Requirements Minimum of one year of experience working with children in a daycare center or preschool setting Knowledge of childhood development principles and infant/toddler care best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hiring) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly preferred Strong classroom experience managing young children's behavior through positive reinforcement techniques Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Passion for early childhood education and nurturing young learners' growth Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children during their most formative years!
