Qualifications:
Current North Carolina Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license or certification Experience leading instruction for visually impaired students, ideally in a school setting Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Ability to adjust teaching methods to accommodate a range of learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored educational support and instruction for 20-23 visually impaired students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with other teaching staff, families, and support personnel Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with state policies Inspire student confidence and independence
