Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Minimum of one year of EC teaching experience required Valid teaching certification in Special Education Thorough understanding of diverse learning needs and accommodations Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to create and maintain positive, inclusive classroom environments Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff Commitment to upholding confidentiality and student advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs that align with students' strengths and needs Deliver differentiated instruction in both individual and group settings Adapt teaching materials and strategies to ensure student success Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in parent/IEP meetings Foster supportive relationships with students and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student achievement Stay current with best practices in special education and comply with district requirements This is a rewarding, full school year contract role where your expertise and commitment will truly matter.
