Key Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or classroom assistant preferred Understanding of classroom management and child development Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students and staff Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced school setting Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting student learning
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them stay engaged and on track Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under teacher guidance Manage and supervise students during classroom activities, hall transitions, and lunch or recess Support positive behavior strategies and contribute to a safe, respectful classroom environment Prepare learning materials or instructional resources as needed
