Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification, with required Adaptive Curriculum Certification Previous experience working with elementary-age students preferred Proficiency in developing, adapting, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with families, support staff, and administration Ability to create an encouraging, structured classroom that meets the varying needs of up to 10 students

Role Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction to elementary students in ECS classrooms based on individualized learning needs Develop and deliver adaptive curriculum tailored to diverse learning styles, abilities, and IEP goals Monitor student progress, continually adapting teaching methods to ensure optimal development and achievement Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement effective classroom strategies Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing staff development
