Two Year Old Lead Teacher Siler City, NC 27344 From $12 an hour - Full-time From $12 an hour - Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Two Year Old Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment tailored specifically for two-year-old children. Your leadership will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow through innovative curriculum development and personalized child development instruction. You will play a vital role in fostering social-emotional skills, early literacy, and foundational math concepts while ensuring a safe and inclusive space that promotes curiosity and joy. Responsibilities Design and implement dynamic lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that supports toddler care, behavior management, and childhood development milestones. Engage actively with children through age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, language acquisition, and fine/gross motor skills. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress in accordance with child welfare regulations and mandated reporting laws. Collaborate with families to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral observations, and individualized learning goals. Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure safety, engagement, and smooth transitions throughout the day. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs within the classroom. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, especially with toddlers aged two years old. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curriculum plans that include literacy education, math activities, physical education, and Montessori-inspired lessons. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members. Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool teaching preferred; Montessori certification is a plus. Ability to adapt lessons for children with special needs or requiring early intervention support.
