College Lift Enrichment Teacher Forsyth Technical Community College - 4.1 Winston-Salem, NC Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Interactive learning teaching method High school diploma or GED Collaborative teaching Student engagement classroom management Full Job Description Those who serve in the position of Enrichment Teacher stand at the center of College Lift's flagship program, Saturday Academy. Enrichment Teachers are responsible for delivering the primary instructional content within the Enrichment area of expertise to a given grade level of College Lift scholars.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
High school degree Work a minimum of 4 instructional hours. Additional hours may include preparation time and support of College Lift programming as needed Experience teaching or leading enrichment activities in schools, after-school programs, or community-based organizations Strong classroom management skills and ability to engage all learners Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Creativity and passion for enhancing student learning beyond the core curriculum Ability to integrate technology, hands-on projects, and interactive strategies into instruction Commitment to creating a positive and supporting learning environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or extended program hours as required
Preferred Qualifications Preferred:
Associate or bachelor's degree. At least one year of experience leading enrichment activities in schools, after-school programs, or community-based organizations. Essential Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following along with other duties as needed: Facilitate four 30-minute instructional sessions every Saturday Academy. Collaborate with instructional assistant to facilitate small group/individual instruction; this includes all related activities of Saturday Academy. All roles include additional duties not captured in the job description, and responsibilities may evolve in response to future innovations, including emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and new models of work Physical Demands
