Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a school-based team in Bellevue, Nebraska. We partner with school districts nationwide to connect exceptional education professionals with meaningful opportunities where they can make a lasting impact on students. About the Position We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a school-based setting. Job Duties Develop and implement IEPs Provide specially designed instruction based on student needs Adapt curriculum, materials, and assessments Monitor academic and behavioral progress Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Collaborate with general education teachers, families, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Implement behavioral and classroom management strategies Maintain accurate documentation Provide accommodations and modifications identified in student IEPs Maintain compliance with IDEA and Nebraska special education requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Valid Nebraska teaching certificate with the appropriate Special Education endorsement for the assigned grade level Nebraska Special Education Generalist endorsement appropriate to the assignment, such as K-6, 7-12, or K-12 Completion of an approved educator preparation program Required human relations and special education training Completion of applicable Nebraska certification requirements and background screening Knowledge of IDEA and IEP procedures Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Benefits Competitive rates Weekly pay 401(k) with employer match Tiered benefit plans Employee Assistance Program CEU and license reimbursement Ongoing professional support and advocacy Dedicated support throughout your assignment Travel Opportunities Blazer Jobs offers travel opportunities for eligible Special Education Teachers who are interested in expanding their professional experience.
