Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Previous experience supporting students with diverse learning needs is preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Comfortable adapting instructional strategies to meet individual goals Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver specialized instruction in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assess student progress and adapt teaching plans as needed to support growth and success Work closely with general education colleagues, support staff, and families to create an inclusive classroom environment Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation for each student Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities Foster a positive, supportive atmosphere conducive to learning for all students This position provides the chance to positively impact students' educational journeys and collaborate with a dedicated educational team.
